Silent continuous-sweep quartz movement with a 1-31 date wheel. Shaft lengths listed so you order the one that fits. A continuous-sweep movement, so the second hand glides rather than ticks - the difference between a clock you can have in a bedroom and one you can't. The date wheel runs 1 to 31 and advances at midnight. One AA cell, roughly twelve months. Choose the shaft by measuring your dial thickness plus any spacer. If it matches the specification we published and still doesn't fit, we pay the return postage - that's the whole reason we publish the numbers.
